A Wyoming State Senate bill proposal could repeal and terminate the Wyoming Business Council. If the legislature disbands the Wyoming Business Council, Wyoming would be the only state in the United States that does not have an economic development agency.
Among other things, the legislation involves guidance about the Wyoming Business Council’s loans and where to place the WBC’s savings accounts.
This will be a part of the budget process, and the draft budget bill will be debated in the upcoming legislative session starting February 9th in Cheyenne.
