The Cody Fillies went into the ReMax Early Bird Invite Pre-season ranked number 1 in the WyoPreps Girls Basketball Coaches & Media Poll.
The first game of the Early Bird the Fillies would see the host team Campbell County Lady Camels at Campbell County High School.
The Lady Camels were ranked number 4 in Wyoming 4A Girls Basketball.
The Fillies’ Molly Hays scored 27 points in the game but was shy of leading Cody to the win.
Campbell County had 3 girls that shot multiple 3 pointers for a total of 12 equaling 36 points.
In the match-up 3 Fillies fouled out of the game.

On the second day the Fillies would play another host team in the Thunder Basin Lady Bolts, ranked number 3 in pre-season polls, at Thunder Basin High School.
The Fillies came out leading in the first period 20-10 and would never look back.
Molly Hays had 21 points, Two other Fillies had double digit scoring Junior Sophia Radakovich with 10, and Senior Riley Simone with 13.
Cody would get a 25 point win 69-44.

The final day of the Invite was Saturday at 10:30am against the Scottsbluff Lady Bearcats from Scottsbluff Nebraska.
The Bearcats have a Division 1 commit in Paige Horne who quickly showed her skill level.
Horne would score 29 points for Scottsbluff.
Cody would answer with only letting 2 other Bearcats score.
The Fillies would have 7 different scorers led by Molly Hays 15, Grace Hays with 13, Sydney Simone with 11 also scoring were Ellie Talich, Macy Ball, Maddie Beaudrie, and Riley Simone.
