Cody’s Ally Boysen Named Gatorade Player of the Year

Cody Fillies Forward Ally Boysen has been named the Wyoming Girls Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year.

Boysen has helped lead the Cody Filly Soccer team to two straight State Championships (2022 & 2023) where they have compiled a 34-0 record during that span.

Boysen had 48 goals on the season and added 12 assists.

She was named the Senior Class Player of the Year.

Boysen has been named All-Conference 3 times in her career and All-State 3 times as well.

Boysen was named a finalist for the prestigious Milward Simpson Award which is given to the most outstanding male and female high school senior in Wyoming and is considered the most prestigious award an athlete can earn in their high school career.

Boysen is the second Cody Filly to garner Gatorade Player of the Year. Junior, Molly Hays was named the Wyoming Girls Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year. Prior to this year, the last time Cody had a Gatorade Player of the Year was Brody Smith back in 2016 for Track.

Boysen will be attending the University of Wyoming on a Soccer Scholarship this fall. She is currently in Laramie now.
