Cody High School Swimming And Diving Team Scores Most Points

The Cody Broncs Swimming and Diving team was in Laramie for State this past weekend.

What a finish for the Bronc Swim & Dive team!!! This team worked hard to finish in 5th place with 116 points (tied with last year’s all-time top finish of 5th place but with only 100 points).

Not only did we finish in 5th place, but we walked away with THREE ALL-STATE ATHLETES: Bryson Laing, Bradley McKenzie & Jonah Woods

200 Medley Relay: 5th place (1:43.99) – Myles Bailey, Bradley McKenzie, Jonah Woods, Isaac Woods

200 Free: 20th place – Isaac Woods (2:03.36), 27th place – Emi Vizcaino (2:09.31)

200 IM: 21st place – Isaac Wood (2:22.81)

50 free: 4th place – Bradley McKenzie (NEW SCHOOL RECORD – 21.97), 8th place – Myles Bailey (23.27)

Diving: 2nd place – Bryson Laing (NEW SCHOOL RECORD: 396.05), 20th place – Ki Hopkin

100 Fly: 10th place – Jonah Woods (1:00.27), 13th place – Townsend Bailey (1:02.19)

100 Free: 2nd place – Bradley McKenzie (48.50)

500 Free: 6th place – Isaac Woods (5:38.07), 13th place – Isaac Wood (5:46.52), 22nd place – Emi Vizcaino (5:58.65)

200 Free Relay: 3rd place – Myles Bailey, Jonah Woods, Isaac Woods, Bradley McKenzie (1:32.73)

100 Back: 11th place – Myles Bailey (1:01.48)

100 Breast: 2nd place – Jonah Woods (1:03.50), 10th place – Townsend Bailey (1:09.10)

That brings us to the end of another amazing season….countless season bests, personal bests, 6 NEW school records, and so many more great things.
