CHS Track And Field Break 5 School Records At Regionals

The Cody High School Track And Field Team broke 5 CHS school records this weekend at the West Regional Track Meet in Rock Springs.

In the last time Cody will compete in 4A Track and Field the Broncs and Fillies each showed dominance.

Cody High School will be moving down to 3A across the board in Athletic and Activities competition beginning next season in 2024-2025.

Until then Cody showed it’s skill.

The complete results from West Regional Track and Field 

Cody set 5 school records including:

Ada Nelson – 4:59:47 in the Girls 1600 Meter (1 Mile)

Alessandra Broussard, Isabelle Paddock, Lillie Kirkham, and Ada Nelson – 4:08.53 in the Girls Sprint Medley Relay (SMR)

Jace Jarrett, Dillion Brost, Ben Hogan, and Boston Cronebaugh – 42.25 in the Boys  4X100 Relay.

Dillion Brost, Ben Hogan, Kash Merritt, and Charlie Hulbert – 3:32.97 in the Boys Sprint Medley Relay (SMR)

Luke Molton – 45-8.5 in the Boys Triple Jump (a 23 year old record)

The Cody Broncs Boys team finished 1st at the West Regional Track and Field meet becoming the 2024 West Regional Champions.

The Cody Fillies Girls team finished 3rd at the West Regional Track and Field meet.

The 2024 States Track and Field Meet will begin Thursday in Casper.
