CHS Tennis Heads To Rescheduled State Championships

The Cody High School Tennis team will get a few extra days to prepare.

The Wyoming High School Activities Association has postponed the 2023 State Tennis Championships in Gillette to Monday, September 25th through Wednesday, September 27th.

Heading into State Cody will have three tennis players who won 3rd in the Regional Championships.

Nick Stewart finished 3rd at the North Regionals in the #1 Boys Singles at Thunder Basin High School last week.

Campbell County, Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Powell, Sheridan, and Thunder Basin were the teams competing at the North Regionals.

Noelle Graham finished 3rd at Regionals to advance to State at the 3 seed as the #1 Girls Singles.

In the Boys #2 Singles, Carter Thomason finished 3rd at Regionals.

The remaining Bronc and Fillies Tennis players competing at State:

Boys #1 Doubles Chris Miller/Christian Durdrick.

Boys #2 Doubles Hudson Wallace/Zach Schwab.

Boys #3 Doubles Wesley Law/Jamie Domingo.

Girls #2 Singles Karina Schoessler.

Girls #1 Doubles Alyssa Desain/Natalie Wenke.

Girls #2 Doubles Ellie Wassink/Brenna Foote.

Girls #3 Doubles Evie McGonagle/ Hailey Dansie.
