CHS Golf At Buffalo Invite

The Cody High School Golf Team was in Buffalo Thursday and Friday for the Buffalo Invitational.

Thirteen teams from across Wyoming including Buffalo, Campbell County, Douglas, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Sheridan, Thermopolis, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Wheatland, and Worland.

Both the Broncs and Fillies would finish 5th as a team.

The Broncs scored 688 overall, ahead of Cody were Campbell County 1st with 619, Lander 2nd with 637, Sheridan 3rd with 658, and Thunder Basin 4th with 688.

Logan Hall was the top Bronc finisher with an 83 and an 85 with a 168 2-day total, putting him tied for 15th.

Talon Couture hit an 86 and an 85 for a 171 total.

Colby Crandall with an 86 both days for a 172.

Grady Perry with an 88 and an 89 for a 177.

Myles Bailey with a 96 and an 87 for a 183.

The Fillies finished 5th at the Buffalo Invite with a 2-day total of 607, Sheridan won the Invite with a 510 having 3 of the top 5 spots, Thunder Basin 2nd with a 571, Douglas with a 572 for 3rd, and Torrington 4th with a 600 even.

Cody’s Adelie Hall finished in the top 5 with a 90 on both days for a 180 overall.

Jordan Shummard hit a 95 on day 1 and a 115 on day 2 for a 2-day total of 210.

Eliana Hopkins with a 105 and 112 for a 217.

Zandy Eckley with a 131 and 142 for a 273.

Lovell’s Erika Cook was the leader for both boys and girls with a 71 on each day for 142, 25 strokes ahead of second place for the girls and 2 strokes ahead of the boys leader.
