The Cody City Council started their meeting at 7PM on Tuesday March 3, 2026, at the City of Cody Council Chambers
After the Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence they Mayor called roll call.
All city council members were present.
The Consent Calendar was approved unanimously by the Council, this included:
Approval of minutes from February 17th and February 24th meetings.
Voucher and payroll in the amount of $1,578,486.56.
Resolution of Authorization for Condemnation.
Wings over Wyoming Mural Grant Agreement.
Contract Agreement for the Coe Statue located at YRA.
There were no public hearings.
Then Business was conducted:
Ordinance 2026-05 second Reading: An ordinance to rezone Lots 1-12 and the N 55’8″ of Lots 15-16 of Block 14 from R-3 Medium Density Residential to D-2 General Business. Nothing new since the first reading.
The City Council Unanimously approved the Agreement for Independent Contactor Services between the City of Cody and Pawnee Irrigation Evergreen Landscapes for the Dorse Miller Park Irrigation System Replacement.
The City Council Unanimously approved the Tree Streets Replacement Project Phase 2-Substantial Completion and Retainage Release.
The City Council Unanimously approved the Change Order number 3 with Western Municipal Construction for the North Lift Station Improvements Project.
There were no tabled items.
Before adjourning the meeting, Mayor Reiter thanked the city staff for putting the Buffalo Bill Celebration together at City Hall on February 26th last week, as she could not be there.
There will be a work session on Tuesday March 10th at 5:30PM, and the next Cody City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 17th at 7PM
