Wyoming High School Reclassification Numbers for 2024-25, 2025-26

The Wyoming High School Activities Association will reclassify schools in accordance with new enrollment numbers provided by Wyoming High Schools.

The enrollment numbers for the 2024-25, and 2025-26 reclassifications:

The cutoff for each classification will be 700 or more 4A, 210 to 699 3A, 110 to 209 2A, and the remaining 1A.

4A – Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Cheyenne East, Rock Springs, Cheyenne Central, Campbell County, Cheyenne South, Thunder Basin, Sheridan, Laramie, Star Valley, Jackson, Evanston, Green River, Riverton.

3A – Cody, Lander, Powell, Douglas, Rawlins, Torrington, Buffalo, Pinedale, Worland, Wheatland, Lovell, Mountain View, Lyman, Newcastle, Burns, Glenrock.

2A – Moorcroft, Thermopolis, Kemmerer, Tongue River, Big Horn, Big Piney, Wyoming Indian, Greybull, Pine Bluffs, Shoshoni, Sundance, Rocky Mountain, Wright, Wind River.

1A – Lingle, Saratoga, St. Stevens, Lusk, Southeast, Upton, Riverside, Cokeville, Burlington, Hanna, Guernsey, Midwest, Snake River, Dubois, Farson, Hulett, Ten Sleep, Encampment, Rock River, Kaycee, Meeteetse, Arvada-Clearmont.

Football will be an exception top 10 schools are 4A, the next 12 schools are 3A, the next 14 are 2A the next 14 are 1A Nine-man, and the remaining are 1A Six-man.

4A – Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Cheyenne East, Rock Springs, Cheyenne Central, Campbell County, Cheyenne South, Thunder Basin, Sheridan, Laramie.

3A – Star Valley, Jackson, Evanston, Green River, Riverton, Cody, Lander, Powell, Douglas, Rawlins, Torrington, Buffalo.

2A – Pinedale, Worland, Wheatland, Lovell, Mountain View, Lyman, Newcastle, Burns, Glenrock, Moorcroft, Thermopolis, Kemmerer, Tongue River, Big Horn.

Torrington could move from 2A to 3A and Worland could move from 3A to 2A these decisions won’t be finished until the end of September.
