The 19th Annual Wyoming State Championship BBQ and Bluegrass Festival kickoffs Thursday, August 17 in Worland at the Washakie County Fairgrounds.
Over 25 BBQ Teams will compete for a chance to win prizes totaling over $10,000 with over 2,000 spectators attending.
Event festivities include more than just great food and great music, there will also be a car show, 5k walk and run, and a pancake breakfast. There is even a Kid Zone for fun activities for children.
No animals are allowed at the festival and those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
