Wind River Casino Reopens Tomorrow

Wind River Casino doesn’t want to gamble with your health.

After months of closure, the Wind River Casino announced its intention to reopen this Friday, August 7th. Their original plan was to open on July 22nd, but that was cancelled for unspecified reasons. Citing its importance as a major employer and source of entertainment for Riverton and all of Fremont County, CEO Brian VanEnkenvoort is confident that all possible safeguards are in place to ensure everyone who comes to play will do so safely.

There are several caveats laid out for the Friday reopening. Only the casino at Wind River Hotel and Casino is opening; the hotel is opening later. Hours will be from 6 am to 2 am daily, leaving 4 hours for deep cleaning of the facility and amenities. Smoking has been banned on the casino floor until further notice, table games will be socially distanced but open in limited capacity, as will all food outlets inside. All patrons and employees will have their temperature checked before entering the casino. Masks will be required.

There’s on additional suggestion that could make a world of difference during a visit: unless you’re regularly disinfecting it, refrain from frequently touching and using your phone.
