Warrior Basketball Finish The Season With A Big Win

The Worland Warriors were at home for the last time this season.

Friday Night at Warrior Gymnasium was Senior Night where the Warriors would host a strong Buffalo team.

Worland celebrated the Seniors Landen Gilmore, Brock Douzenis, Carter Clark, Court Gonsalez, and Kade Weber before they took the floor for their final home game.

The first period went at a very quick pace both teams going on runs, the first by Buffalo who would take a 6-point lead.

The Warriors would go on a run of their own with the help of three 3-pointers from Brock Douzenis to end the 1st period down by one, 20-21.

The fast pace would continue through the 2nd period where Carter Clark would score 8 points, the half would end 39-33 Warriors with a 6-point lead.

Starting the 3rd period the Bison would score 27 points, and Worland would match that with 28 points, ending the 3rd 67-60 Warrior lead.

In the final period, Buffalo would keep pace with Worland, scoring 14 to Worland’s 12.

The final score was Worland 79, and Buffalo 74.

Carter Clark had a career game with 32 points, followed by Brock Douzenis with 20, and Owen Page with 14.

Buffalo had 4 players score in the double digits led by Junior Eli Patterson with 21 and Freshman Nate Minor with 16.
