Going to Yellowstone is truly an amazing experience, but being able to experience an amazing closeup interaction with wildlife and their young is amazing. Especially since no animals or people were harmed.
Recently, there has been an uptick of Yellowstone National Park visitors getting too close to wildlife unsafely, with one interaction resulting in the death of a bison calf and park officials searching for more wildlife harassers. The National Park Service recommends all visitor stay 100 yards from bears and wolves and 25 yards from bison, elk, and all other wildlife. Please remember to respect the animals of Yellowstone as they are wild and dangerous.
