The University of Wyoming is looking for anyone willing to share their stories of ghostly encounters in historic Wyoming hotels.
Dr. Ken Hanson, an Assistant Professor at U.W.’s Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology, is supervising a professional study by primary researcher Deborah Cobb. As part of the study, the research team wants to schedule interviews with anyone who had a paranormal experience in one of five historic Wyoming hotels.
The five hotels are being studied as part of the project.
- The Occidental in Buffalo
- The Sheridan Inn in Sheridan
- The Irma in Cody
- The Plains Hotel in Cheyenne
- The Virginian in Medicine Bow
Interviews can be scheduled virtually or in person, but all participants must be over 18.
Anyone interested in sharing their ghostly stories is encouraged to fill out and submit a short survey to schedule an interview.
Questions can be emailed to Dr. Ken Samson and Deborah Cobb.
