Smokejumper Tim Hart Returns Home Today
Smokejumper Tim Hart will be making his final journey home to Cody today June 6th, 2021, around 3:00 p.m.
Tim Hart passed away due to injuries that he sustained during a smoke jump. The jump was on the Eicks Fire in southern New Mexico.
A procession of fire trucks as well as other agency vehicles will escort Tim and his family. The will begin at Choice Aviation and then on to Ballard Funeral Home.
Show their support by lining the streets, along the route to bring Tim and his family back to Cody. They are asking everyone to park on the highway between Choice Aviation and heading towards town. Approximant line up again 3 pm with flags or signs to show community support.
