On Thursday morning, the Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department announced that their firework show will be canceled this year.

After stage one restrictions on BLM land were in place to prevent fires. The Volunteer Fire Department in Thermopolis, Wyoming decided to cancel this years firework display.

The Fire Department express that fireworks are not allowed in city limits to protected neighborhoods. The also added in their post that all donations for the event will be held over for next years event the said on their Facebook page.
