The DIY Dream: 2023 Home & Garden Show was a Success

The most anticipated home and garden event of the season took place Friday, May 19th and Saturday, May 20th, as the Big Horn Basin Media hosted their 23rd Annual Home and Garden Show at the Riley Arena. Over 120 vendors filled the arena and portions of the parking lot showcasing their products and services to over 1,000 people who came out to enjoy the show.

The two day event, sponsored by Whitlock Motors was a true DIYer’s dream. As one of the most prestigious vendor events in northwest Wyoming, the Home and Garden Show allowed businesses to display their products and services in a unique way for the people of the Big Horn Basin.

Jessica Courtney Sanchez from Diamond Creek Events was one of the vendors that was apart of the annual show. Sanchez shared she would definitely be apart of the show again, “It was a wonderful experience. It was well organized, well attended and I really enjoyed sharing what we do with so many interested community members.”

For 23 years, the Home and Garden Show has been an event that hundreds of people are able to come through and meet with experts, comparison-shop and solicit services of local, trusted providers. “We had a full show, vendors from all over Wyoming, Montana and even Texas.”, shared Amanda Wakley, Director of Marketing and Promotions for Big Horn Basin Media. “It was great hearing from multiple vendors that go around to different shows tell me that this one is their favorite.  They love coming to our show and to Cody.”

There was over 400 entries with the grand prize winner being Krystal Knowles.

“The show overall was a good show,” said Wakley. Look for information about next year’s Home and Garden Show in March 2024.
