The 2023 Easter Events Round-up

With Easter coming up this Sunday, there are several events going on in the Cody, Wyoming community this week.

April 6th:

Easter Egg Coloring for Teens

Teens in grades 6th – 12th are welcome to come to the Cody Library Teen Room for an afternoon of coloring Easter eggs from 4pm till 5:30. All of the supplies will be provided.

April 7th:

11th Annual Elks Egg-stravaganza

Swim, splash, hunt and dive for Easter eggs at the 11th Annual Elks Egg-stravaganza at the Paul Stock Aquatic and Rec Center. Participants must be registered by April 6th, and early registration is strongly recommended.  The Egg Hunt Times are as follows:

  • 10 am – Leisure Pool for 5 – 7 year olds
  • 10:20 am – Leisure Pool for 8 – 9 year olds
  • 10:40 am – Adaptive, Slide Catch Pool
  • 10:40 am – Leisure Pool for 10 year olds and older
  • 11 am – Red & Blue Gyms for 4 year olds and under
  • 11:30 am – FREE Lunch sponsored by the Elks

Stations of the Cross

The fourth annual St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cody will be hosting an opportunity for the community to walk through various scenes or “stations” from the final moments of Jesus’ life. Students from the high school and middle school have volunteered to play different Biblical figures, including Jesus and his disciples. The event will begin at 2pm on Good Friday at the church located at 1333 Monument St.

Aprl 9th:

Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt will be held Sunday at 1pm at the Olive Glenn Golf Course on the No. 1 Fairway. This “bring-your-own-basket” hunt, will be divided into three age groups with three different hunt areas; 0-4 year olds, 5-7 year olds, and 8-1o year olds. After the hunt, there will be an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and the Cody Lion. In case the weather does not cooperate, check back to our website for an alternative date and time.
