SYP: Vernon Orndorff, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Park Co Number 6

Vernon Orndorff, Superintendent of Park Co. Schools, Number 6, spoke about what his first, full year was like as Superintendent.  He also spoke about the “Classroom to Careers” initiative that has kids getting real-world experience and mentorship from area businesses. Also, George Parks, a Cody HS alum, with other alums have started the Cody Schools Education Foundation which should be self-sustaining in a couple of years. Anyone can get involved in helping this private, non-profit. Not only CHS, but all the schools in Park County Number 6.
