SYP: Haunted, Historic Hotels In Wyoming

Debbie Cobb is a researcher and senior student at the University of Wyoming and is beginning a project about ghosts and the paranormal that have appeared in haunted, historic hotels in Wyoming, including the (haunted?) Irma Hotel right here in Cody. Ms. Cobb says she “is a proud Wyomingite with deep family ties to the state and is a descendant of homesteaders, gold prospectors, and coal miners. She is currently at the University of Wyoming studying communication, psychology & sociology. In her free time, Debbie researches and writes about haunted historic locations, enjoys roller skating, and loves visiting local museums.”

Debbie says she’s always been fascinated by the supernatural and occurrences that cannot be explained.  Asked if she’s a “believer of a skeptic,” she says she’s “somewhere in between.” Her current project is entitled, “An Analysis of Paranormal Experiences At Historic Wyoming Hotels.”  She is urging listeners to share their experiences at hotels like the Irma and across Wyoming, to help her with this endeavor.  If you’d like to participate in this project and share your “encounters” with the supernatural at one of the listed hotels, please contact Debbie here. It should be a fascinating read when she’s finished!
