The winter storm that began blowing through Wyoming yesterday has closed roads in the Bighorn Basin and throughout the state.
According to the Wyoming Travel Information Map, all roads out of Cody are listed as slick with snowfall, strong winds, blowing snow, and reduced visibility. But the road between Meeteetse and Thermopolis is closed both directions due to winter conditions. The Wind River Canyon is also closed.
And roads throughout the northeast portion of Wyoming are closed, including I-90 between Buffalo and Gillette, and I-25 from Sheridan to Casper.
