Meeteetse is making face mask available for residents who need them.
In the Meeteetse Town Bulletin disrupted yesterday, the Town of Meeteetse Emergency Management Team announced that reusable masks are available to anyone in town. The masks are recommended for anyone interacting with sick individuals, whether they be first responders or any caretakers. The best use of a mask is once you develop symptoms of flu or any similar sickness, mainly to help protect persons around you. They’re not a 100% secure barrier to illness, but they definitely help.
Masks are available primarily at Meeteetse City Hall, and may also be offered at the Wea Market while supplies last. Anyone who’s interested in obtaining a mask needs to call ahead and make an appointment. They will be distributed curbside. All the masks are reusable and can be washed, so one trip can provide a lot of additional coverage.
