Remembering Hank Coe

Wyoming State Senator Hank Coe

Longtime Wyoming Sen. Hank Coe died Thursday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 74.

Coe will be remembered for his service to Cody, Park County and Wyoming. Elected in 1988, he served 32 years in the Wyoming Senate, retiring in March 2020. His time in Cheyenne included serving as chairman of the Senate Education Committee from 2003 until he retired.

Coe also was a Park County commissioner, 1979-87.

Here’s what I had to say about the senator Friday morning on “Daybreak.” Listen.
