Park County School District #6 is working on creating their next 5-year strategic plan and needs the input of the Cody community.
In a post on the District Facebook page, they shared that they are committed to ensuring that all perspectives are heard in this critical process.
Superintendent Vernon Orndorff is excited about the project, encouraging members of the community to give their input. “Park County School District 6 is embarking on a thrilling expedition to craft our upcoming 5-year District Strategic Plan. As we strategically progress through our District Strategic Planning process, we eagerly seek your involvement to bring it to fruition.”
Saying that every voice and opinion matters, Orndorff says that direction from the community is key, “The input from all our stakeholders is invaluable, and [the community’s] input plays a crucial role in shaping the future trajectory of Park County School District 6.”
District parents, students, staff members, and all Cody residents are encouraged to share their insights as their input is essential in shaping the future direction of Park County District #6.
There are two ways people can share their perspectives with the district.
The first way is through an online survey that is available to take now. To take the survey, visit the Park County District #6 website or click this link to be directed to it.
The survey will close on Friday, October 20 by 6 p.m.
The second option is to share your opinion in person. The district will be hosting an in-person community forum so residents can share their perspectives, and hear from other community members in realtime.
This event will take place at the Wynona Thompson Auditorium on Monday, October 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
PCSD#6 is also encouraging the community to spread the word about the survey and forum. They say, “The more voices we hear, the stronger our strategic plan will be.”
