The Park County Commissioners had their first Tuesday meeting of three consecutive Tuesday meetings in February, which started at 9:30AM 2/3/26 in the Commissioner’s Conference Room at the Park County Court House.
After the Pledge of Allegiance, the meeting came to order with a standards and regulations update.
The Commissioners then took public comment on Agenda and Non-Agenda items.
Kari Smith of the Park County Clerk’s Office then presented a Liquor License Transfer for Wapiti Lodge Liquor License LLC.
Timothy Myers then made a presentation to the Commissioners regarding the Buffalo Bill Dam Board
Brian Edwards, Park County Engineer, addressed the Commissioners about out of state travel for road and bridge foremen.
At the WYDOT Public meeting at 11AM the STIP projects in Park County and the region were discussed.
There was the then a one hour and 15-minute lunch break.
At around 1:15PM Brian Edwards, Park County Engineer, asked the Commissioners to consider the Kenyon Petition to vacate certain public roads within the Garland townsite. The Commissioners agreed to get the process started on that.
Park County Sheriff Darrell Steward then made a special budget request to the Commissioners for an updated radio console system for dispatch and 911 services, and the Commissioners granted his request.
And Greg Bessler presented the American Legion Patriot Community Center proposal in Powell to the Commissioners. This project is just in the beginning stages and the Commissioners agreed to give Bessler a letter of support, which will help with grants.
