Northwest College wants your opinion on its future.
In light of the ongoing roller coasters of enrollment and economy – exacerbated by the pandemic – the college is hosting a series of meetings aimed at action. Administrators and board members see 2020 as a major transformational year in the institution’s history, and they want Park County’s input on what their future should look like so the college can remain sustainable while meeting the demands of future students and county residents. These meetings are open to all interested residents. College faculty and staff will be in attendance at each meeting.
The first focus group meeting of the series will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building. It’s the only meeting that will be held on the NWC campus, the others will be facilitated on Zoom over the following dates:
Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center (in person)
Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m. (via Zoom)
Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 7:30 a.m. (via Zoom)
Thursday, Sept. 3, at 3 p.m. (via Zoom)
Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 3 p.m. (via Zoom)
The meetings in culminate in the Future Summit – a half-day seminar where the focus group discussions and ideas will be presented to anyone intrigued to hear. That meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center.
