The Cody High School Bronc basketball team is hosting a fundraiser for one of their own. Former Bronc player, Conor Webster, was severely injured in a work accident on December 7th. He was flown to Billings, where he remains in ICU and continues to be cared for by a dedicated medical team. The Broncs and Fillies invite the Cody community to come out to the “Post-Up 4 C-Web” benefit games on tonight, January 20th at Sweitzer gymnasium.
Webster, a 2011 CHS graduate who was often known by his nickname, ‘C-Web,’ wore #4 and played the post position for the Broncs and Coach McCarten. McCarten believes in a ‘team first’ mentality, knowing it also means every member – past and present – will forever have a team around to help and support him/her in times of trial. McCarten, along with his players and their parents, organized the fundraiser to help Webster and his wife, Tessa, with the unexpected medical expenses.
Head Coach Jay McCarten on the fundraiser, Conor Webster and more:
Come out to cheer on your Fillies and Broncs and support ‘C-Web.’ All money raised during the event will go directly to Conor Webster.
