Four Cody Basketball Players Earn Post Season Honors

The Wyoming Coaches Association has announced the Class 3A/4A All-State and All-Conference recipients for the 2020-21 High School Basketball season.

Athletes receiving postseason honors are voted on by head coaches in each classification.

Both Molly Hays and Kennedi Niemann have earned their first All-State Honors in basketball while Torrie Schutzman was voted All-Conference for the Fillies.

The Filly trio helped lead Cody to a historic 2nd place finish at the Class 4A State Basketball tournament last weekend. The Fillies made history by becoming the first girls basketball team from Cody to play in a State tournament.

For the Broncs, Luke Talich is the lone Bronc basketball player to receive a post season accolade earning All-Conference.

Taking a look at the rest of the All-State and All-Conference honors for athletes in the area.

On the Girls side earning All-State include:

Darla Hernandez, her second All-State honor.

Area Athletes earning All-Conference:

From Thermopolis- Kamry Bowman

From Lovell- Rhett Partridge

From Powell- Rose Graft

From Worland- Tymberlynn Crippen, Darla Hernandez and Denali Jones

On the boys side, earning All-State include:

From Powell- Mason Marchant

From Worland- Mack Page and Rudy Sanford. Page was All-State in 2020. This is Sanford’s third All-State Honor.

Earning All-Conference include:

From Thermopolis- Hardy Johnson

From Lovell- Zeke Newman

From Powell- Landon Lengfelder, Mason Marchant

From Worland- Court Gonsalez, Mack Page, Rudy Sanford
