Former President Trump took to social media and endorsed current Wyoming Senator John Barrasso as he seeks another term to represent the people from the Cowboy State.
The presumptive GOP nominee for this year’s presidential election took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to give a full-throated endorsement of the senior senator from Wyoming.
“Senator John Barrasso is an incredible advocate for the great people of Wyoming. John works hard to stop the disastrous policies of Crooked Joe Biden and to secure our border. John is a True Patriot who fights to Create Jobs, Lower Inflation, Promote American Energy, Uphold the Rule of Law, and Support our amazing Farmers and Ranchers. John Barrasso has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” wrote the former president.
Senator Barrasso responded by posting on his X account, formerly known as Twitter.
“Thank you @realDonaldTrump! It’s an honor. With your leadership in the White House we can get our country back on track and start winning again. In the Senate I will fight to pass your agenda for American energy dominance, low inflation, and to close the border. Let’s do this!”
Senator John Barrasso was sworn in to the United States Senate in 2007 having represented the people of Natrona County in the Wyoming State Senate from 2003-2007. In November 2018, Barrasso was reelected to the U.S. Senate with more than 67% of the vote, according to his Senate profile.
