Former Cowboy, Tanner Gentry Signs with Buffalo

Reunited and it feels so good. Earlier this week the Buffalo Bills signed Wide Receivers Kenny Stills and Tanner Gentry. Many Wyoming fans will remember Gentry from his days as a Cowboy catching passes from Allen in Laramie.

Gentry and Allen were teammates for two years with 2016 proving to be the best year statistically for the two of them. That year Gentry had over 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns. Allen would throw for over 3,700 yards and had 35 total touchdowns.

Gentry went undrafted before signing with the Chicago Bears in 2017. He was released in 2019, only playing one game for the Bears. Gentry last played in the XFL for the New York Guardians.

With the NFL playoffs around the corner, Josh Allen is playing some of the best football of his career. The Bills are one of the hottest teams in Pro Football right now and with some added weapons, who knows, the skies the limit.
