The Cody Fillies won both games this weekend, both were tight scores.
The Fillies beat Powell on a buzzer-beater with 3.5 seconds remaining with a football toss inbound pass from Sophomore Ellie Talich to Senior Molly Hays who scored the game-winning layup.
Fillies and the Lady Panthers were both ranked going into the contest.
Cody was ranked 4th in Wyoming 4A girls basketball, and Powell was ranked 4th in Wyoming 3A girls basketball.
Three Fillies scored in double digits including Molly with 18, Talich with 11, and Freshman Grace Hays with 14.
Junior Sophia Radakovich and Sophomore Maddie Beaudrie also scored for the Fillies.

On Saturday the Fillies would face Wyoming girls basketball number 5 ranked team Sheridan Lady Broncs.
In the first home game of the season, Cody would hold Sheridan off, after leading by 14 in the third period the Lady Broncs would rally to tie the game at 54.
Once again Senior Molly Hays would score the game-winning bucket and the Fillies would get a 56-54 win.
Molly had 21 points followed by Radakovich with 9, Grace Hays with 8, and Talich added 7.
Riley and Sydney Simone each scored along with Beaudrie and Reagan Moss.
