After having last weekend’s games postponed due to the weather the Cody Fillies softball team was back in action Thursday hosting Worland. The Fillies would use a 7-run 2nd inning and an 8-run 4th to pull away from worland for their 4th win of the season and remain undefeated. The final score was 16-4.
Cody would find themselves down early as they trailed 4-1 entering the bottom of the 2nd before the bats came alive. And Ally Shroeder talks about what was working those two innings offensively and more:
Up Next: The Fillies will be heading to Casper next weekend to face Casper Kelly Walsh and Natrona County. Cody and Kelly Walsh are the last remaining undefeated teams in the state. Below you can hear from coach Smith post-game.
