Fillies 3rd, Broncs 6th at Regional Track

The Cody Track teams were in Riverton over the weekend taking part in the 4A West Regional meet.

The Fillies would finish Regional in 3^rd place while the Broncs took 6^th, out of eight teams.

Multiple teams and athletes qualified for State. Full results below.

Taking a look at some stand out performances, starting with the Fillies.

Ada Nelson- 1^st in the 800 with a time of 2:24

Ava Stafford- 3^rd in the 800 with a time of 2:25. 3^rd in the 3200 with a time of 12:30.

Nicole Wagler- 3^rd in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.54. 3^rd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 48.84

The Fillies 4×100 relay team of Elaine Seibert, Holly Spiering, Lake Harrison and Grace Shaffer would finish 4^th with a time of 51.18.

The 4×400 relay team of Grace Shaffer, Holly Spiering, Ada Nelson and Lake Harrison finished 1^st with a time of 4:09.

The 4×800 relay team of Ava Stafford, Zelma Rudd, Taylen Stinson and Ada Nelson was 2^nd with a time of 10:14.

And the 1600 Sprint Medley team of Grace Shaffer, Holly Spiering, Lake Harrison and Ada Nelson took 3^rd with a time of 4:25.

The Fillies finished 1-2 in the Pole Vault with Grace Shaffer jumping 12 feet, 6.75 inches. Nyah Meier was second with a 10 foot jump. Hailey Holeman was 4^th 10 feet and Kinsie Reed was 6^th.

Long Jump- Holly Spiering was second at 16 feet, 1.25 inches while Hayley Pearson-Horner was 4^th with a jump of 15 feet 10 inches.

Torrance Brown took 6^th in the Shot Put with a throw of 32 feet, 1.5 inches and her discuss throw of 103 feet, 10 inches was good for 6^th as well.

Notable performances for the Broncs show:

Luke Talich- 1^st in the 200 with a time of 22.58. 1^st in the long jump at 21 feet, 8 inches and 2^nd in the 100 with a time of 11.26.

Graidin Arnold was 6^th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.23 and 3^rd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 41.69.

The Broncs 4×100 relay team of Nic Talich, Dillong Brost, Blake Beardall and Luke Talich finsihed 2^nd with a time of 44.32.

Their 4×800 relay team of Kash Merritt, Ben Stewart, David Juergens and Ian Graham was 5^th with a time of 8:50.

The 1600 Sprint Medley team of AJ Baustert, Kellon George, Graidin Arnold and David Juergens was 5^th with a time of 3:49.

Pole Vault- Dillon Brost finished 3^rd with a jump of 11 feet.

Jonny Williams was 7^th in the Shot Put with a throw of 45 feet, 5.75 inches.
