Crisis Intervention Services (CIS) is issuing an urgent alert to the community regarding reports of an individual impersonating CIS employees in an attempt to scam and defraud residents.
“This fraudulent activity is a grave concern, and CIS is working diligently with local law enforcement to address and resolve the situation,” states Director Lisa Peterman in a media release.

“If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from CIS and have any doubts about their authenticity, do not hesitate to verify their identity by contacting our official offices directly.
