The Hospitalization number are up from Sundays number of 161 to now at 172 people hospitalized due to COVID. That marks the fourth consecutive day of a record high for the state.
Where Wyoming sits comparatively to the nation has flipped as well from being near the bottom to now rising in the top. The state now ranks sixth nationally both in new cases per 100,000 residents and new deaths per 100,000 residents over the past week, according to New York Times data.
The rest of the Mountain West states are trending similarly with also having some of the nations highest per capita rate of new cases.
