Sedig for being selected as Wyoming Coaches Association’s Nominee for National High School Association (NHSACA) Coach of the Year for Region VII.
Coach Sedig has been Region VII’s Nominee six years previous, being one of eight finalists in America each year.
Coach Seadog is nominated for the 7th year for coaching longevity (35 yrs.), team success, Individual honors, & service.
In Sedig’s last year (2019), his three Girls Doubles Teams had a combined record of 56 wins and one loss. All three CHS Doubles Teams won all three Wyoming State Doubles Championships. This in 4A, which includes the much larger schools like the Cheyennes, Caspers, Sheridan, & Gillette. This feat of winning all three Doubles State Championships by one school hadn’t been done since 1990.
Coach Sedig will also be honored at the WCA’s Coaches Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet, July 22nd, 2022.
Region VII consists of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, & Wyoming.
