Full interviews coming later.

Kennedi and Reece are two of the more prolific athletes to ever lace it up for the Cody Fillies Basketball team.

Kennedi was First Team All-State 3 out of her 4 years in the blue and gold.

Kennedi would finish the 2022-23 season leading all of Class 4A in assists per game, averaging 4.8 per contest. She was 7th in the Class 4A West ranks in scoring 9.4 points per game. Kennedi finished with a field goal percentage of 48. She average 3.5 steals per game. Kennedi over the course of her career developed into a true point guard, a real floor general and there is not a pass on the hardwood she cant’ make.

And don’t get me started on Kennedi’s defense. She was arguably the best perimeter defender in the entire state this year.

Reece was 1st Team All-Conference the last 2 years. She earned Honorable Mention All-State in 2022. No 2nd Team Team or Honorable Mention All-State was given in 2023 for Class 4A.

Reece is one of the best all-around players you’ll ever see. She can score, pass, rebound, defend and more. Reece finished the season averaging 7 points per game. She grabbed 4 boards per contest while dishing out 1.5 assists and tallying 1.7 steals. She is also an excellent free throw shooter converting 75 percent of her shots at the line.

One cool state about Reece, during one practice she hit 100 free throws in a row.

Pima Community College competes in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference which competes in the NJCAA.
