CODY HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS OPENED THE SEASON TUESDAY AGAINST ROCK SPRINGS AND GREEN RIVER AND WON 18 OUT OF 20. FILLIES WENT 10-0 AND BRONCS WENT 8-2. AGAINST GREEN RIVER THE FILLIES WENT 5-0 AND AGAINST ROCK SPRINGS BOTH THE FILLIES AND BRONCS WENT 5-0 AND DIDN’T LOSE A SET.
THE FILLIES WERE LED BY THEIR NUMBER 1 SINGLES PLAYER TEAGAN THOMPSON WHO WENT 2-0 ON THE DAY, WHILE THEIR NUMBER 1 DOUBLES TEAM OF MADDY ICENOGLE AND SIMOA WAMBEKE ALSO WENT UNDEFEATED. ON THE BOYS SIDE THE BRONCS WERE LED BY NUMBER 1 SINGLES PLAYER CODY CHAMPLIN WHO WENT 2-0 ON THE DAY WHILE THEIR NUMBER 1 DOUBLES TEAM HAYDEN DEMARONVILLE AND SOLOMON STEWART ALSO STARTED THE SEASON UNDEFEATED.
