The Cody Soccer teams have been road warriors as of late.
It seems like forever since they played a game at home. Their last home contest was April 12th, almost a full month ago.
That hasn’t fazed them one bit.
After contests against Lander and Green River, the Fillies scorching hot play continuted with an 11-1 dismantling of Pinedale.
Then, last Thursday, the Fillies would travel to Buffalo where they would earn the tough 5-2 victory.
They then took on their Park County Rivals for the final time, this regular season, on Friday, and capped off the week with a superb 9-2 win.
The teams were tied at the half 1-1. The Fillies exploded in the 2nd, scoring 4 times in a matter of 5 minutes to secure the victory.
The Broncs, during that span, were not to be outdone.
Against Pinedale, Matt Nelson recorded a hat trick as the Broncs won 3-0.
Vs. Buffalo the Broncs got the shutout, winning 2-0.
Against their Park County Rivals, the Broncs would earn a little revenge. After losing to the Panthers earlier in the seasion, Cody would pick up the 2-0 win on Saturday as they are now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Fillies lead all of Class 3A with a 10-0 overall record, 8-0 in conference play, 1st in the West.
The Broncs are now 7-3 on the season, 6-2 in conference play and sit in 3rd place in the 3A West.
Up Next for Cody Soccer: They conclude their month long road trip at Mountain View and Lyman May 4th and 5th.
