Cody Soccer Sweeps Lyman, Mountain View, in Powell

The Cody Soccer Teams were back in action late last week as each team took part in a pair of games.

Both teams would travel over to Powell for the 2 days of action and came away with victories each time.

These games were originally scheduled to be played in Lyman but they had to much snow on the field and couldn’t host. The games were then moved to Cody to be played but due to, to much snow and ice on the new Spike Vannoy Stadium turf the games had to be moved to Powell.

On Thursday, they would take on Lyman with the Fillies winning 8-0. The Broncs would too, defeat, Lyman, winning by a final of 9-0.

Both teams were back in action on Friday as well, this time facing off with Mountain View, over in Powell.

The Fillies would come away with a big 9-1 victory while the Broncs earned a 5-1 win.

Following the weekend’s action the Fillies are now 4-0 on the season while the Broncs are 3-1.

Up Next: Due to the incoming weather, Cody and Powell have postponed their scheduled soccer matches set for Cody on Tuesday, April 4th. The game have be re-scheduled for Wednesday April 12th at 2 and 4:30pm in Cody.
