The Cody Rec Center is offering a solution for pre-pandemic members.
At this time, the Rec Center is only open to members in order to reduce the number of people using the facility at any given time to just Cody residents. Now, one outstanding question has been answered. During their meeting this week, the Cody City Council approved a number of appropriate compensations for anyone who held a Rec Center membership before the pandemic and was unable to utilize it due to COVID-19.
Kelly Bower, the Rec Center’s fitness coordinator, explains that there are three options available for pre-pandemic members: a two month extension to their current membership, a two month refund for the time lost, or they can donate the balance to the Rec Center.
The Cody Rec Center is still accepting new members at this time, so feel free to drop by and pick one up for all your fitness needs. Other summer programs, like the men’s and co-ed softball and kids’ summer programs, are set to get going this June. To say up to date with the times and dates, follow the Cody Rec Center on Facebook.
