The Cody Indoor track teams would officially kick off their season over the weekend as they were in Gillette.
In what will be a shortened season for the team, both the Broncs and Fillies would perform admirably in their first meet of the year with the Fillies finishing in 3rd place and the Broncs 4th.
Taking a look at some individual performances, for the Fillies: Ava Stafford was 3rd in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Stafford also helped the 4×400 relay team take 2nd.
Grace Shaffer would finish 3rd in the 55 meter dash and 1st in the Pole Vault.
Lake Harrison was 1st in the High Jump and 2nd in the 400 meter dash.
Holly Spiering was 4th in the 400 meter dash and 3rd in the long jump.
The 1600 sprint medley team of Emileigh Dalton, Elaine Seibert, Taylen Stinson and Ada Nelson, picked up right where they left off taking 1st place.
4×400 relay team took 2nd.
And the Fillies had five of the top seven placers in the pole vault: Grace Shaffer, 1st. Kinsie Reed, 2nd. Nyah Meier, 3rd. Hayley Holeman, 4th. Emileigh Dalton, 5th. Kelsey Pomajzl, 7th.
Leading the way for the Broncs:
Kyle Graham was 5th in the 800m.
The 4×200 meter relay team of Tyler Grenz, Jackson Schroeder, Graidin Arnold and Devyn Engdahl took 1st.
4×400 team of Ian Graham, Evan Eversole, Graig Theil and Justin Wilinson took 2nd.
The 4×800 relay team of Riley Nielson, Noah Vogt, Ian Graham and Kyle Graham took 2nd.
Dillon Brost was 2nd in the High Jump.
Daniel Gorman was 2nd in the Long Jump and 5th in the Triple Jump.
Jonny Williams was 6th in the Shot Put.
