THE CODY BRONCS GOLF TEAM WAS BACK ON THE LINKS OVER THE WEEKEND IN SHERIDAN AT THE KENDRICK GOLF COURSE. CODY ENDED THE WEEKEND WITH A TWO DAY TOTAL OF 787, COMPETING IN A FIELD OF ALL BUT TWO 4A TEAMS.
THE FIELD FEATURED 90 PLUS GOLFERS AND THE BRONCS WERE LED BY CARTER SCHUTZMAN WITH A TWO DAY TOTAL OF 173 WHILE LOGAN SCHUTZMAN WAS JUST FOUR STROKES BACK SHOOTING 177. ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JAKE KRAFT “ BOTH CARTER AND LOGAN ARE CAPABLE OF SHOOTING IN THE HIGH 70’S AND IT’S JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY GET THERE. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY WITHIN A FEW SHOTS OF EACH OTHER EACH WEEK THROUGHOUT THEIR CAREER AND THIS WEEK IT WAS CARTER AHEAD OF LOGAN.”
FRESHMAN GOLFER BRADLEY JOHNSTON MADE HIS DEBUT AT THE VARSITY LEVEL IN SHERIDAN, SHOOTING A CAREER BEST 101 ON THURSDAY. UP NEXT, CODY THEY WILL COMPETE AT BUFFALO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AUGUST 29TH AND 30TH.
