Cody Filly Soccer Sweeps the Weekend, Broncs Split

The Cody Soccer teams returned to action over the weekend as they took to the road for a pair of contests each.

On Friday, both teams were in Lander for a double header.

The girls would take to the pitch first and came away with the 4-0 victory.

Ally Boysen led the way, scoring 2 goals for the Fillies while Jessa Lynn added 1.

In the second of the double header, the Broncs would then take on Lander and came away with a quality 4-2 win.

The Tigers would score the first goal of the game. Wilkins Radakovich would then give the Broncs the lead with back-to-back headers for goals.

Lander then tied it up and 2 a piece but it was the Broncs scoring the final 2 goals to claim victory.

On Saturday, both teams would then trek over to Green River for a twin bill.

The Fillies, again, were up first and again came away with the victory, defeating the Lady Wolves by a final of 6-3.

The Broncs would then fall in a tight one by a final of 2-1.

Following all the weekend’s action the Fillies are now 7-0 on the season while the Broncs stand at 4-3.

Up Next: Both teams travel to Pinedale on Friday April 21st for a double header. Girls at 3pm, boys to follow.
