The Cody Basketball teams were back in action over the weekend as they made their return to Class 4A Northwest Quadrant play.
After their games at Casper were postponed on Friday, the two teams would play host to Rock Springs on Saturday for a little afternoon matinee.

The Fillies would keep their winning ways alive as they came away with the 64-20 win.
The Fillies would trail early, 4-2, but took over shortly after that as they went on a huge run and led 21-4 after the 1st quarter and extended their lead to 32-6 at the half.
The Fillies would end up cruising to another big win. One of the most impressive stats is the Fillies held Rock Springs to less than 10 points in every quarter.
This game showed why these girls are such a good team as they had 9 players score in the contest.
Molly Hays led the way with 20 while Victory Buck added 10. Buck knocked down a trio of made 3’s.
In the second game of the day, the Broncs and Tigers delivered an instant classic.
Trey Schroeder knocked down the game winning points, Kam Niemann had a new career high 25 and the Broncs outlasted Rock Springs in Overtime, 66-62.
The Broncs would take a 4-point lead into the halftime break, up 32-28. Cody, led by 12 at one point early in the first half.
The Broncs would build an early 10-point lead in the 3rd quarter and led 40-30. Then Rock Springs would capture the momentum as they went on a 17-0 run. The Tigers would lead after 3, 44-40.
A Luke Talich 3, early in the 4th would snap that run to cut the lead 47-43.
The Broncs would find themselves down 10, 56-46 with 90 seconds on the clock and that’s when the comeback began.
Kam Niemann dropped in 2, plus got the and-1 and then the Broncs stole the inbound pass and Maddax Ball laid it in to cut it to 5 with 74 seconds remaining.
With 47 seconds left in the game Talich would drive the lane, dropped in the bucket, drew the foul and knocked down the and-1 to pull Cody within one.
The Broncs would tie up the game at 59 all on a Niemann drive in the lane, then played stifling defense to send it to the extra period.
Cody would outscore Rock Springs in the Overtime period 7-3 as they picked up the colossal conference win.
Talich added 12 for the Broncs while Ball had 11.
Following all the weekend action, the Fillies are now 17-0 on the season as their bid for another undefeated regular season continues.
The Broncs have now improved to 9-8 on the season, 2-2 in conference play and ar riding a 5-game win streak.
Both teams are back in action, Tuesday, as they will travel over to Casper to make-up their games with Kelly Walsh, that were postponed from Friday. The Girls will tip-off at 1pm with the boys to follow.
Then, Cody Basketball plays host to Riverton, on Friday, for Senior night to close out the regualar season.
