Tina Hoebelheinrich, C.E.O. of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, has been selected to learn and connect with local and state chamber of commerce leaders after a national search.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced Hoebelheinrich will participate in the fifth cohort of its premier business leadership program. She and 34 other leaders will participate in the year-long virtual program to learn and network with each other.
The Business Leads Fellowship Program trains leaders from state and local chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, and trade associations. Through the year, participants are equipped with resources, access to experts, and a network of peers to build their capacity to address the most pressing education and workforce challenges in their communities.
Topics include
- Early education
- K-12 education
- College and career readiness
- Postsecondary education
- Workforce development.
Each workshop is taught by leaders who have put these policies into practice to bring opportunity to their communities.
It’s an honor and opportunity for the entire Cody community. Laramie is the only other Wyoming location with a representative selected for the program.
“Workforce issues have been and will continue to be one of the factors that define our success in Cody. This fellowship is a tremendous opportunity for our community to develop a deeper understanding of the issue and to chart a course toward solutions,” Hoebelheinrich says on the program. “I am grateful every day to live in Cody and work for an organization like the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce that is committed to our future.”
Following a competitive application and selection process, Tina was selected along with 34 other state and local chamber executives and association leaders to participate in the fifth class of this program. The yearlong virtual program, which concludes with an in-person meeting in June 2022, will cover the entire talent pipeline, including early childhood education, K-12, higher education, and workforce development.
Upon completion, Business Leads Fellows will join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s dedicated network of 200 chambers of commerce and statewide associations from around the nation who regularly engage on education and workforce initiatives.
