The Cody Broncs came into Friday’s match-up with Green River ranked number 1 in Wyoming 3A Football by the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Poll and number 1 in the Casper Star-Tribune’s Wyoming 3A Power Rankings.
The Broncs were 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the West Conference.
Cody scored 6 touchdowns in the 1st Quarter, a total of 9 in the 1st half.
Grady McCarten scored 4 touchdowns with 10 carries for 113 yards.
Dillon Brost scored on a 15-yard run in the 1st Quarter.
Chase Hatch had 2 touchdown receptions.
Maddax Ball threw 3 touchdowns 2 to Hatch and the 3rd to Logan Class.
Ben Hogan ran a 77-yard touchdown at the end of the 1st half.
The Broncs finished the game with a 62-7 win.
Cody had 365 yards rushing and 133 yards passing for a total of 498 yards.
The Bronc Defense held the Wolves to 75 yards rushing and 111 yards passing for a total of 186 yards.
Cody forced 3 fumbles against Green River the recoveries went to Jacob Ball, Owen Petersen, and Josh Sauers.
