On Monday the Wyoming Coaches Association released the All-State Recipients for the 2023 Track and Field Season.
One must finish top 2 in an individual event or be a part of a winning Relay team to be named All-State.
Their were several athletes who earned their third All-State Nod of their career’s. If they’re a senior they missed out on being a four-time winner due to the 2020 Covid Year.
The Cody and area athletes to garner All-State for a third time are:
On the boys side, Cody’s Luke Talich and Ben Nichols of Lovell.
On the girls side, it’s Powell’s Anna Bartholomew and Megan Jacobsen.
Now let’s take a look at the Cody athletes that took home All-State honors.
First for the Broncs:
It was Luke Talich and Robby Porter.
Now for the Fillies that garnered All-State:
Alessandra Broussard, Isabelle Paddock, Laura Phillips, Ada Nelson, Kylie Silva, Ava Stafford and Taylen Stinson.
And now look at the area track athletes to garner All-State:
Class 3A Boys:
From Lovell- Adnan Khan, Ben Nichols, Preston Nichols, Gavin Robertson and TJ Scheeler.
From Powell- Daniel Merritt, Cody Seifert and Isaiah Woyack.
From Worland- Trajn Swalstad
Class 3A Girls:
From Powell- Anna Bartholomew, Kinley Cooley, Kenna Jacobsen, Megan Jacobsen, Ine Kollstad, Sydney Spomer and Addy Thorington.
From Worland- Kalistynn Crippen, Cherise Douzenis, Nyssa Leyva and Maddy Lloyd.
Class 2A Boys:
From Rocky Mountain- Jackson Hanusa
Class 2A Girls:
From Rocky Mountain- Katie Christensen
Class 1A Boys:
From Burlington- Jordan Broederlow, Clayton Edwards, Howard McNiven, Pablo Mendez, Jordan Michaels, Cohen Schlenker, Seth Wardell, Grant Winters and Kyler Winters.
Class 1A Girls:
From Burlington- Joey Chatwin, Jessie Michaels, Victoria Nelson and Brynn Preator.
From Riverside- Kennedy Basset, Dakota Cervates, Johnna Clifford, Vaidyn Vanderploeg and Vinaya Vanderploeg.
