There is plenty going on this weekend Cody and area college athletics.
Let’s take a look at everything happening in the sports world.
We’ll start with a look at the sports you can catch live on KODI this weekend.
Cody Basketball returns to action for a pair of double headers, Friday and Saturday.
Friday both teams play host to Evanston with the girls to tip-off at 5:30 and the boys to follow.
Saturday, they host Green River for an afternoon matinee. Girls get underway at 2pm with the boys to follow.
There’s also some college action that will air live on KODI.
Thursday- Wyoming Cowgirls will play host to Utah State for another Moutnain West Conference match-up. That game tips off at 6:30pm.
On Saturday, the Wyoming Cowgirls are back in action. This time they play host to Air Force. You can catch that contest following the end of the Cody Basketball games.
On Sunday, the Wyoming Cowboys return to action and play host to Boise State. That game gets underway at 6:30pm.
As for the rest of the Cody athletics going on…
The Cody Wrestling team will be in action tonight as they play host to Powell for a dual. This is the
final meet of the regular season for the Cody grapplers. All the action is scheduled to begin at 5pm. It is also senior night for Cody. Stay tuned for more.
Both the Alpine and Nordic Skiers will return to action this weekend as they each compete in their final regular season event. The Nordic Skiers play host to their own event on Friday and Saturday. The Alpine Skiers will be in Casper for a 2-day event at Hogadon Ski area.
And the indoor track teams are scheduled to take part in the Sheridan Bronc Ivite at Campbell County
High School, in Gillette, on Friday.
And now a look at the rest of the college athletics going on…
The Northwest College Basketball games against Western Wyoming on Wednesday have been postponed. The makeup date will be Monday, February 27th.
According to their schedule the Northwest College Basketball teams will return to action, on Saturday, as they take to the road to face Casper College. Women at 2pm, men to follow.
