Broncs Win Cody Trackstravaganza, Fillies Take 2nd

The Cody Track teams were back in action on Thursday, hosting their own Cody Trackstravaganza meet.

This was the final meet of the regular season for Cody.

Both teams performed exceptionally well with the Broncs winning the meet and the Fillies coming in 2nd.

And now let’s take a look at some of the top individual perfvormaers.

First for the Broncs.

Luke Talich won the 100 with an impressive 10.87. That’s the fastest time in Class 4A this season.

Talich would also take 1st in the 200.

Dillon Brost finished 2nd in both the 100 and 200. He was 4th in the Pole Vault.

AJ Baustert was 3rd in the 100 with Jace Jarret 3rd in he 200.

Kash Merritt was 4th in the 400.

Charlie Hulbert won the 800. Riley Nielson was 4th.

Ben Stewart was 4th in the 1600 with Riley Nielson 5th.

Randall Nielson was 2nd in the 3200.

Graidin Arnold was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles.

Both the 4×100 and 4×800 Relay Teams took 1st.

Robby Porter was 2nd in the High Jump with Maddax Ball 4th and Ben Hogan 5th.

Kaden Clark was 3rd in the Long Jump with Logan Class 5th.

Logan Class won the Discus.

Jace Grant was 5th in the Shot Put.

Over on the girls side:

Alessandra Broussard was 5th in the 100 and 200.

Keira Jackson was 4th in the 400.

Ava Stafford was 4th in the 800 with Zelma Rudd 5th.

Ada Nelson won the 1600. Zelma Rudd was 4th.

Taylen Stinson was 1st in the 3200 with Sunday Schuh 2nd and Elisa Wachob 4th.

Gracie Buck was 4th in the 300 Hurdles.

Both the 4×100 and 4×800 Relay Teams took 1st.

Kenzie Ratcliff was 2nd in the High Jump.

Kelsey Pomajzl was 2nd in the Pole Vault with Hailey Holeman 5th.

Laura Phillips won the Shot Put and was 2nd in the Discus.

Up Next: The Cody Track Teams will play host to the 4A West Regional Track and Field Meet on Friday and Saturday, May 12th and 13th.

The State Tournament is May 18-20 in Casper at Kelly Walsh High School.
